- ☕Espresso screen☕: Our puck filter 54mm is made of multi-layer sintered 316L stainless steel and is not synthesised with any glue. The sage coffee puck screen has a flat surface, consistent pore size, good filtration, can be weighted for use, easy to clean, resistant to high temperatures, acids and alkalis. PS: 316L is a better material than 304 and can be used sustainably at high temperatures.
- ☕Advantage☕: With this coffee filter screen keeps the machine and shower screen clean, improves water distribution and reduces the probability of splashing; effectively improves extraction and homogeneity, increases pre-soaking. PS: You only get a complete coffee cake after a perfect extraction has been carried out.
- ☕150μm portafilter screen☕: According to our long-term research, under the condition of guaranteed filtering effect, 150μm density filter is more effective in enhancing the aroma of coffee and more suitable for espresso machines than other density filters.
- ☕Note☕: Some espresso machines have a raised screw in the middle of the shower under the Portafilter, which is a structural conflict and cannot be used directly. You can again reduce the amount of coffee powder and lower the height so that the filter does not interfere with the use of the filter in the espresso machine.
WARM TIPS
1. This espresso puck is as thick as an american quarter, so be sure you lower your dose (amount of grounds) by at least half a gram so there is enough clearance above the puck screen in the espresso basket to insert the portafilter basket.
2. Some espresso machines have a raised screw in the middle of the shower. You can reduce the amount of coffee powder and lower the height so that the filter does not interfere with the use of the filter in the espresso machine.
